Everything Everything

This project was to create a book cover design for a book of our choice. I chose to design a cover for ‘Everything Everything’ by Nicola Yoon. 
The idea behind the design is inspired by the main character Maddy. In the book Maddy creates architecture models and she always hides an astronaut in her models. 
In a particular model she put the astronaut in an american diner surroned by piles of food. I created an illustration of this and placed it inside a silhouette, represeting Maddy, since Maddy has a disease meaning she hasnt left her house since she was one. I wanted to represent the confinement that she felt.
